Heading to Vegas then onto cali what are the best places to play double deck with the best rules. would like to stay between $25 and $50. I've played at all the MGM properties and they have pretty good rules but is there any others that are better? than standing on S17 plus all the other normal rules?

All double deck games in California are H17.
Best rules for DD in California are at Barona (H17, DAS, RSA, LS) putting the house edge at 0.28%.
They have 27 DD tables, 12 or so are in high limit with two or three tables sometimes being $50 min, otherwise the usual $100.
Better to stay under the radar and play unrated in the other DD pits, which are $25 min with some $50 tables if it's busy.
The heat is nearly nonexistent and you will last forever here if you don't get greedy, play each shift, and limit your session times.
Pechanga has 30 DD tables (H17, DAS, 0.4% house edge) but about 6-8 or so are in high limit.
The DD room is centralized in one room with four different 'mini pits.'
The $25 minimum tables are always full on weekends.
Only five spots per table I think, and the penetration varies by dealer.
You will last forever here if you 'play your cards right,' limit your session times, play unrated, and spread your play over each shift.
Pala has 17 DD tables (H17, DAS, 0.4% house edge) but 4-6 are in high limit.
Better penetration on the main floor. They have a main DD pit and a few DD tables scattered in pits with other games.
Low heat as long as they don't start to recognize you.
You will also last forever here as long as you stay out of high limit (it's always empty, which means scrutiny for new faced unrated players).
There are other casinos in California, but aren't really worth checking out.
The DD games at MGM casinos are the lowest house edge anywhere, at just 0.19% with S17, DAS.

- Best Double Deck Blackjack in Las Vegas. The best double deck blackjack game is spread at the M Resort. It is located on the far south end of the valley on Las Vegas Blvd. Players may double on any two cards and after splitting. Aces may be resplit. The dealer stays on all 17’s. The game has a $100 minimum bet and $5,000 max.
- When playing blackjack at the MGM Grand, you will find that the casino offers the lowest limit stand of all Las Vegas Casinos. With over 25 tables featuring a six-deck shoe where the dealers are supposed to hit soft 17, it is clear this type of blackjack game is the most common at MGM.
- With More Tables than ever, at Boulder Station, the best blackjack in Las Vegas is always served with a side of personalized service- in an atmosphere as trilling as they come. Play Single Deck, Double Deck and 6 Deck Shoes.

All double deck games in California are H17.
Southern California, perhaps. I'm pretty sure Cache Creek (between San Francisco and Sacramento) has DD S17. Of course, getting there from Vegas is not particularly easy - first, either you have to go through LA (i.e. 15 to 210 to 5), or 15 to CA-58 to 5; then, 5 to 205 to 580 to 680 to 80 to 505; finally, 13 miles on CA-16, which is pretty much one lane in each direction.
Oh, and if you feel like playing craps in California, keep in mind that not only are all games card craps, but casinos that have been built or modified in the past five years or so (so their compact with the California government would be amended) can't do the version where you get to throw dice to determine what cards are used (any game with 'physical dice' is illegal - for that matter, the newer ones aren't allowed to have card roulette, or video roulette, either.)

Awesome, So my best bet to play is the MGM properties? and last time I saw that they all had a set amount that they cut out every where you were getting right at 75% penetration. Any places in vegas with same rules but better penetration?

Cache Creek has both 3:2 and 6:5 DD, both are H17, D10, and no resplitting (0.77 HE and 2.17 HE respectively).
Their S17 game is single deck with D10 and LS, putting the house edge at 0.27, though the game may not be there anymore.

One is for perceived skilled players set at around 60-65% and the other is much deeper for known regulars who are not advantage players, around 75-80%.Best Double Deck Blackjack In Vegas 2019
Consider getting CBJN, which lists blackjack conditions and rules for many casinos throughout the US and Canada.mcallister3200
I was to Cache Creek in 2015. They are all S17 now, mostly shoes.

I got backed off at Pechanga very quickly. They watch their games closely and it was one of the most unfriendly back offs I've ever had. Barona and pala are lenient and u can play there awhile. Also when those places backed me off it was way more civil and friendly than at pechanga.
